Research & writing

The majority of my research and academic writing has focused on ways that individuals, teams and organisations can intervene to enhance performance (e.g. leadership coaching), personal effectiveness (e.g. mindfulness training) and workplace wellbeing (e.g. wellness programming).

If you are interested, please review my list of publications. Where possible, I’ll provide links to this work.

If you have any questions about anything, please send me a message via the contact page.

Helping others do it

The next best thing to exploring interesting questions yourself, is helping others to do so. In my time in academia, I’ve been privileged to supervise five doctoral projects to completion, on topics as diverse as new leader transitions, leadership succession, strengths-based interventions in organisations, the on-shore impact of off-shoring, and the motivational impact of mergers on founder entrepreneurs.

All of these projects have been interesting and produced impressive contributions to knowledge. In all cases I’ve been inspired by the passion and resilience of my students. The road to a PhD or Masters is enormously challenging, and the reason why graduation days are true celebrations!

Huge congratulations to Dr Wiggins, Dr Susing, Dr Ahmed, Dr McFadden & Dr Dulagil
